"I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RADE TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A NEW WEBSITE. IT COULDN’T HAVE BEEN EASIER"
LARKING GOWEN
Large accountants and business advisory firms in East Anglia
Project Scope
Now in it's 3rd reincarnation, originally Larking Gowen approached Rade to assist them with a website redesign to coincide with a realignment of their business branding and departure from the MHA group.
Rade first developed a new site for Larking Gowen in 2017 using the Umbraco CMS system and for this project the brief was clear; a re-styling of the existing website with a fresh brand and style.
A lot of work had been undertaken when the site was initially developed to ensure the structure of the site was fit for purpose and therefore the challenge for Rade was to ensure this was not lost as part of the redesign process. This is all kept up-to-speed by an enthusiastic and motivated marketing team.
Added to this, secrecy and timeliness were crucial to the project; the timeline was very tight for delivery and it was important, knowledge of the impending brand change, was kept strictly under wraps.
Solution
The Larking Gowen website had been developed by Rade on the Umbraco CMS platform, so changing the design was a relatively straightforward task.
Following our initial discussions with the client, Rade produced a set of designs for the updated site that could be reviewed internally by the project team.
It was important to ensure that no vestiges of the previous design and style were carried over to the new site and therefore a fresh colour-palette was adopted along with a revised structure.
The project needed to proceed at pace to meet a strict deadline and therefore regular project meetings together with a highly focused approach were adopted to avoid potential delays.
